Monday 20th of November

Got a plane for Bangalore, the airport in Pune is as big as the Dinard International Airport in Brittany!!! But at least they have a friendly staff.
From the air, the city looks quite green. Big mistake!! The pollution here is quite bad. I haven't done much today. My hotel is ok but it turned out to be a bit of a disaster in the night as the hotel is basically very noisy, full of business men drinking in their rooms and making f*cking lots of noise. The bastards!!
Earlier, treated myslef to some European food, went to this place called Casa Piccola, apparently they do excellent pastas (Lonely Planet guide). Went there, took the pastas, it was bad!! Very bad!!. Lonely Planet are shit, that's not the first time they let me down, everything in their book seems so nice and interesting but the reality is far less impressive.

Tuesday 21st of November

After only 2/3 hours of sleep, I am in mood of killing someone (or at least a business man). I am gonna find a new hotel for tonight. I have decided to book this tourist city tour, don't have much time here so though it would be a good idea. Thinking it was a reputable tour, make my way to their office where the bus is waiting. After turning around streets for ages, I finally found the "office" which is basically a stall in a shaddy street!! The tour turned out to be a joke! We spent most of the tour stopping at shops, that way if we buy things, the city tour guys get a commision. Can't believe it! In the afternoon, things are much better, had a nice Ayurvedic massage , very relaxing, peace at last. Ayurveda is an ancient and complex science of Indian herbal medicine and healing. They basically cover your body with an oil previously heated.
My new hotel is much better and quieter, need a good sleep tonight. Tomorrow I am travelling more east to Chennai. It's a 6 hours train journey.

Wednesday 22md of November

Watched tv from my room this morning, feeling quite sick. Must be these malaria tablets I am taking everyday. They tend to fuck up my stomach now and then.
Spend most of the afternoon and early evening on the train to Chennai. My seat was in the middle so could not see much of outside. So glad I have got my Ipod, I need music pretty much all the time and especially on this train!!
Arrived in Chennai around 9pm, Chennai is the third biggest city in India and is situated on the bay of Bengal.
Checked into a cheap hotel, they have got a rooftop restaurant and licensed bar so had a nice chilled lager and prawn and egg rice.
