The birth place of Che Guevara, though thatīs not all the city (the 2nd largest in Argentina) has going for it. Beautiful colonial buildings, a beach (on which we witnessed some disturbing swim wear! although this was softened by the beauty of the Argentinian men - ladies you would love it here they are muchos guapo (handsome)), great shopping and a buzzing nightlife...all of which we took advantage of! Our hostel, Posadas Jaun Iganacio, was in a beautiful old building. The business is new and run by three young friends - it was wicked, like living in someones house with all their mates round all the time ... We got a real insight into the Argentinian culture.
