Kerri and I took a bus from Bratislava to Vienna for 7 euro a piece. I met a German girl named Friederike when I was in Ireland. She told me she was living in Vienna and said when and if I make there I had a place to stay so I accepted her offer. Kerri didn't have a place to stay either and her plan was to fly from Vienna to Greece 3 days later so I asked Friederike if she wouldn't mind having 2 house guests. She said that would be fine so the 3 of us toured Vienna together with Friederike being our private and great tour guide! I stayed five nights and Kerri went on to Greece after her third night. Thank you very much Friederike, you are great! Vienna is a beautiful city I would recommend it to everyone. It seems as if every corner you turn there is another beautiful building or old Roman style palace waiting to have it's picture taken. We visited a couple different castles which were enormous but not really the old mid-evil style architecture but still interesting to see with there beautiful gardens. There were sausage stands and noodle stands at almost every major intersection and I have to admit the real Vienna sausages are a thousand times better than the ones we have back home in a small tin can that you can only eat when you a absolutely starving. It was becoming a habit to have at least one meal a day from a sausage stand. I also got to check out the oldest ferris wheel in the world which was located in the middle of a big amusement park. I read it was not the first ferris wheel but it is the oldest still standing and operating. It was burned to the ground during WWII but in the following year it was rebuilt exactly the way it was before the war.

Loved all the pictures! Looks cold and wet, but very green at the same time.
