Berlin is a very huge city with so much to offer with tons of history and cultural diversity. The train system is incredible once you get it figured out. I am not real sure how the ticket system works but I have managed to ride for free all around the city the whole time. There are electronic ticket vendors at each train station but once you get on the train there is nowhere to put the ticket and no one to give the ticket to. Some say if you get caught without a ticket you will be fined but I'm not real sure about that either. I think the tourists are the only ones that buy the tickets and support the system for everyone else. I also took a boat tour through the canals of Berlin seeing all of the old buildings and heard a lot about the history of the city. The Berlin wall was also quite the site to see. I was imagining a big ugly concrete wall so the first time I walked by i didn't even realize it was "the wall". It has the most amazing and detailed paintings you can imagine. Definitely worth seeing.
