Where I stayed

Hello everyone, the day before yesterday I took a day trip on a bus to Galway which is on the west coast. I toured a small cattle farm and then after the tour ate some home made apple pie in the grandmother's old cottage on the farm. The farm has been a family owned and operated business for over 250 years. Afterwards it was off to see The Cliffs of Moher http://www.cliffsofmoher.ie/ they were amazing but it was raining sideways and it was bloody cold! A young Croatian girl and I became tour buddies for the day since we were both traveling alone. We took pictures of each other and had lunch together. She is living and working in Brussels, Belgium right now but thinks she will return to Croatia soon. I am sorry about not being able to post pictures on this blog, I will continue to try and figure out how but I'm pretty sure Facebook is going to be the only way to see my pictures.

Yesterday I went and toured the Guiness brewery with my German friend named Ben and my Hungarian friend Arnold. Arnold has a wife and 3 kids but is also part of the couch surfing community www.couchsurfing.com he said I for sure have a place to stay when I get to Hungary. I'm looking forward to it. Afterwards we went to a small pub for a drink. Arnold had some other things he needed to tend to so Ben and I went to the Brazen Head http://www.brazenhead.com We met a couple of Irish ladies and had some great conversations. Eve had to go home early but Ciara made an awesome pub crawl tour guide until 4 in the morning. Thanks Ciara, we had an awesome time!

It's so cool that you got to tour that farm! One of our very most favorite places we toured on our trip this summer was the small (4 acre!) farm outside Sorrento. Love that Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)! The apple pie you got was the caprese salad and homemade bread that we got. Love it!!!
And, of course, you're making friends. Who knew?.....
We love traveling along w/ you. Can't wait to see where "we've" been next!
The home folks miss and love you!
