I slept in until almost 9AM and dropped camp.  At the campsite I received a home cooked breakfast by a lady there who also ran a bed and breakfast.  Then I met up with Wild River at 10AM for another rafting trip.  We went down the Flathead River.  It was relatively calm with at least six different class three rapids along the way.  I was able to ride shotgun again on this trip.  I was a bit gun shy when we hit the first rapid because my last rapid was a few days ago on the Wentatchee when our entire raft flipped.  But no worries today!  The scenary was terrific and the river ran along side Glacier National Park's boundary.

After the trip I packed a lunchand entered Glacier by car around 2PMish.  I drove the famous Going to the Sun Road from the western end of the park to the eastern one.  It never occured to me why the road had this name, but today it was clear as the second half of the 58 mile road ascended about 5-6,000 feet up into the mountains (almost the sun).  I stopped so many times along the drive for views of waterfalls, mountains and glaciers.  I spotted a few mountain goats along the way too.

In the evening, after dinner, I went for some drinks at a small pub and met a couple, Michael and Carly, from South Africa.  They are both here on a special work program and they work in a restaurant.  I hung out with them, played some pool and had some drinks until midnight.
