I needed a day of relaxation on this vacation so I drove to Desert Hot Springs and spent the day at a hotel with six pools. I layed out in the sun and enjoyed the refreshing 110 degree rays.

In the mid afternoon I drove to Los Angeles to spend the night with the Frimmers, Paul and Carol who are close friends with my parents. It was Fathers Day and they had a Thanksgiving style dinner with turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, cranberry and more.
