On July 14th I drove 32 miles to Goblin State Park. There was a huge valley of natural, odd, goblin-shaped statues of rock.
Later drove 77 miles to Capitol Reef National Park in Utah. I saw petroglyphs, fruit orchards, and a tiny one-room schoolhouse used to teach grades 1-8 in the early 1900's.
