Drove 105 miles to Devil's Tower in Wyoming. I camped at a KOA that was just a couple miles from the entrance of the Tower. What a view from my tent!!

Devils Tower 1

I hiked 1 1/3 miles around Devil's Tower. At 9PM at my campsite they showed the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind on a big screen tv. It was exciting to see the Tower in the movie and then look with my eyes 10 feet to the right and see the real Tower glistening in the moonlight.
