After arriving to Toronto last night I left in the morning today with my cousin Bonnie to Niagara. After a couple of hours driving we arrived at Niagara Falls. Bonnie and I went to the top of the viewing tower for some terrific views of the falls both from the U.S. side and the Canadian side. Next we walked down closer to view the falls.

Once we got back to the car we drove to the nearby wineries. We made four or five stops to sampel various wines, The ice wine seemed to be very popular in this area and we broke down and bought a bottle.

Next we took a walk through Niagara-on-the-Lake. It was a cute, historic area with many nice shops and restaurants. After walking around a couple of hours we stopped at a restaurant for lunch. I sampled six new beers and Bonnie and I shared a plethora of tapas.
