In the morning we took a bus over the border and into Brazil.  From there we reentered Iguazu National Park.  There is only about 20% of the falls actually on this side but the views from here were spectacular.  There are 275 cascades along the trail.  We started up high with some panaramic views of the falls.  The hike took us passed the falls as we walked lower and lower.  Eventually we were at the base of the falls.  There was an amazing walkway that passed along down below in between the falls of the horseshoe.  The views from here were spectacular and the mist was welcoming after such a humid hike.

In the afternoon we flew to Rio de Janeiro.  I hated all 1 hour and 40 minutes of the rocking and rolling.  The hotel is situated right on Copacabana Beach and I have excellent views of the beach from my room.  I walked along the boardwalk with Shelley and Damian.  Shelley and I shared some kind of street food made with cheese and coconut and Damian and I each had a big beer.

At 9PM we met back at the hotel and had dinner with my parents.
