When we stopped in the port Jason and I took a walking tour of the city. Later we rented bikes to see more of the city. Upon exploring the city we also decided to stock up on some beverages to bring back on board the ship. It was hysterical loading up our backbags as large as they could go and peddaling back toward the cruise ship in a foreign city. I think we each had at least 3 or 4 bottles of wine stuffed in our bags as we peddadles through the city.
In the U.S., the only place I can find one of my favorite clothing stores, H & M, is in New York, but we must have easily found 4 or more stores. Every time you turn the corner there was an H & M. I guess it was like Starbucks in the U.S.
Jason and I also found an internet cafe and caught up on our emails. On the way back to the ship we walked through a market with food and crafts for sale. Of course we also walked by and admired the Helsinki Cathedral.
