Saturday began nice and early with a 7:30AM departure on our bus. It was basically a day on the bus to go for a lunch that was nothing special at all! Around 4PM we made a stop a park in the city of Karuah. It was a nice little park by the water with an interesting old-school bridge. The students played some rugby. We even spotted a pod of dolphins which was a thrill and our first real find of Australian wildlife in it's natural environment.
At 5PM we arrived in Swansea. Here we met up with numerous local families. Anywhere from two to four students were each paired up with a family that they would stay with for the next two nights. I was paired up with Ray and Gwen, both in their seventies. Back at their home we had a home cooked meal and sat around the living room talking for hours.
