Due to the crazy travel pace, Rowena and I decided to downshift things a bit and really check out Aguas Calientes. The next day would be totally dedicated for the Machu Picchu ruins.

We scoured the neighborhood making our way outside of the tourist area (locals only area), back to the tourist area, climbed down to one of the rivers and chilled, had lunch with a talking Peruvian parrot, and basically did the whole tourist walk.

The following is a whole lotta photos from the town. I wanted to share a bunch since it was one of my favourite places, tourist spot or not.
