Silver City, New Mexico

Silver City is a small, quiet town near the edge of New Mexico. We chose this place to stop on our way to Phoenix because of its proximity to the beautiful National Forest and the historical Gila Cliff Dwellings. There's not much to do in Silver City except visit Walmart or the local Dollar store, but it was actually quite nice to have a couple of relaxing days just us in our RV. The girls and I spent the first afternoon just getting our grocery shopping done and taking in the town while enjoying an ice-cream cone outside one of the the shops. Friday night Jason and I took the girls to the local theater and saw one of the only two movies showing, The Lorax. It turned out to be a pretty cute children's movie and the girls loved it. Sometimes the most simple times we spend together create the best memories.
