My Grandparents have been a source of inspiration through out my life and are only second to my parents in contributing to the person I have become. Most of my childhood was spent at their house, and I lived with them again when I started college at NMSU. I was very close to them growing up, so it's sad that I live so far away and haven't been able to visit often. I owe them more than I could every repay.
My Grandmother passed away last year leaving my grandfather as my only living Grandparent. We spent the day Saturday with my him and went out to Miranda's faaaavorite restaurant in Las Cruces... Golden Corral. I know there are a lot of great places to eat there, but this golden corral has it going on! And buffets suit our family well since we are all picky eaters! We ended the day visiting with him at his house and starting up a virtual chess game. Waiting to see the outcome as I have only beat him at chess a few times and only recently!
I hope to be back through Las Cruces soon so I can visit him again! But until then, I hope that we can continue playing our Chess games.
