And I've never felt this way before
And I swear this is true
And I owe it all to you....(Black eyed peas)

I know it is a bit too much to write 2 blogs in one and the same day, but this is just a special last one, with some more Did you know that about my trip

- In Vietnam it's called the happy room, in Philippines the comfort room, but in most places I would just call the toilets the smelly room
- Vietnam has the best noodlesoup, Laos the best chicken laap, Indonesia the best Nasi/Mie goreng, but of all I prefer Thai food, because it has the most variation, it's the speciest and it has the best taste
- North Vietnam people ar the most unfriendly ones, Laos the most relaxed and laid back ones, Cambodja the most smiley ones, Philippinos the most friendly ones and Indonesian the most pushy ones (especially the man)
- The Philippines were the most expensive for me to travel
- During this trip I really learned to do nothing, to not want to see and visit everything, to not want to be doing something the whole time but to just relax and enjoy
- In Thailand I had the funniest busride ever from Koh Lanta to Krabi
- In every country at some point I had some emotional crisis but not as many as the overwhelming happy moments
- In Indonesia I had the most massages
- During the whole trip I played way too much cards, ate way too much chicken and had way too many beers
- During the whole trip I read 3 Dan Brown, 5 Marian Keyes and many many other books
- It's impossible to say which country I loved most so please don't ask me once I'm back
- I remember having a discussion with my brother-in-law on my sister's wedding cause he couldn't believe I would ever make a trip like this...I already know now what will be the first thing I tell him when i see him..." I DID IT" and none of you can ever imagine the conditions I slept, ate, peed, drank,...in
- In Bali I had the most rainy days
- All over the trip I changed over 30 books and 2 pairs of flipflops
- In Indonesia I had the worst hangover
- I don't know how to behave in a restaurant anymore, so I will have to learn that you can not just go in, ask for the menu and leave again, or that you can not have dinner without ordering a drink, or that you can not go into a bar and bring your own alcohol...all because it's way too expensive
- I learned to sleep in 100 different positions, to bargain even if it's only for 10 cent, to take things like they come, to not get annoyed for things that you can not change anyway, to wait for hours for the bus and sit still for hours in it, to leave the past behind and look forward, to appreciate what I have, to live without a mobile...and i will continue all of them in Belgium...jep also the mobile...for now ;)
-The Shuffeling sont was the song I heared most
- I kissed quite a lot of different nationalities in this trip :P
- I'm coming home without money and clothes, but with a lot of souvenirs, one real new tatoe, one unwanted burnmark, a lot of new friends and millions of good memories
- It was my first backpacking trip but it will not be the last one
- This trip was just in one word...or two words...CARPE DIEM ;)

People came and went, some I will never see again and I don't even mind, some will be in my heart for ever and I will do my best to see them again...
Among others, special thanks to
- Karl, for being my first kiss in Asia
- Hanneke, for being the best travelbuddy
- Tim, for seducing me with the best opening sentence ever
- Giovanni and Roberto, the 2 Italians who took care of me in Siem Reap and Singapore
- Jeroen, for showing me that not all men are the same
- Ondrej, for being a real friend
- Fien and Lara, only 18 years old, but amazing girls, adopting me for some weeks, showing me real friendship, accepting me like I am (= CRAZY :)
- My mom and dad for being adventurous enough to come and travel 2 weeks with me
- Michael, for making Chiang Mai a nice place to stay
- Puman and Leila, for turning another boring busride into the most funny one
- Miek, for being the Philippines expert
- Onno, for giving me an unforgettable first evening in Boracay and Valentine's day in Manilla
- Idan, for entertaining me with nights out and discussions about finding true love
- Laurence, for being nice and funny
- Marlot and Lennard, for being so easy going and relaxed, travelling with me through Sumatra and Jakarta and meeting me again in Bali
- Vita, for sharing her point of view about things with me leading to some nice conversations and for being so enthusiastic about certain things...great energy
- Sofie, for not caring about what money she has to spend to come and visit me for only 5 crazy days
- Claire and Adrian, for entertaining me when it was raining every day in Bali and coming to Kuta to have a party the last night
- Diego playboy, Tattttoooeeee, Sandor and Diego bubblegum for making my stay in Gili Trawangan unforgettable
- and all of you, for following my adventures and being there when i needed it...thanks a lot

This is not THE END...it is TO BE CONTINUED
