Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse Point

Our day started out bright and early at Arches National Park. We did our hiking early and beat the mid day heat. Arches is really a special place. From there we headed out to Dead Horse State Park which is right outside the enterance to Canylonlands National Park. The view from Dead Horse Pint was bar non the best view I had ever seen. It was a mini grand canyon. Big enough to inspire awe and still small enough to maintain a perspective. Canyonlands was our last stop of the day and honestly it was a little bit of a let down. It simply did not compare to Arches.
