Check out the pics from my visit to the Healesville Animal Sanctuary just outside Melbourne. I saw lots of Aussie wildlife including koalas, kangaroos (very chilled out), owls, emus, dingos, snakes, spiders, platypus, wombats and some big scary pelican that seemed a bit sinister and freaked me out. but I'm not a fan of birds... I also got a blurry photo of a Tasmanian devil, those fellas are a bit hyper! They need to take whatever the kangaroos are on.

I'm heading to Tasmania next week so i'll fill you in on that when I get back!

i like your succinct writing style,i can see it all in a few words from you,whereas i'd definitely have to ramble more..you could definitely write a...Pelicans are mad aren't they! i can see your close-up moment with this guy..no crocs? One night i went for a walk on muddy sand at a rivermouth near townsville with Simon and all of a sudden we heard splashing in the water..Crocs! We ran away.Every sand pile or lump of seaweed was suddenly one..All sounding good,wrap up for Tazzy i'd say..Hello to all the family there,ankle's ok,still healing slowly but i'm off the crutches, Thank God. 'talk' soon again x É
