I just got back from a night in Changsha. I went with three students and the heads of the English Department for an English competition. I have been training the three students for about a month now and they had their competition today.

I was unable to stay in Changsha tonight, so I will not be able to see Willow's speech. I have a football game tomorrow. She is an English major, a senior and very talented.

I was able to watch Zhong Bin and Le Tian, today. They are both non- English major juniors and they are very bright.

Le Tian got second prize with 8 other students and Zhong Bin got third prize with 10 other students

. This was out of 60 non-English major students. I am very proud. They listened well and gave great speeches.

The competition consisted of:

- 3 minute prepared speech on- "Culture Smart or Science Intelligent"

-Two questions about their speech.

-A 2 minute impromptu speech (i already forgot the topics, they each had different ones)

-Peace
