What a day. Today was the first real day of sight seing on the tour. We got up at 6am and left the hotel by 7am. Then we had a 5 hour bus drıve to Gallipoli, where the famous First World War battle between the ANZACS and the Turks was fought in 1915, with very heavy casualties on both sides. We went to the cove where the troops landed their shıps, to the cemetaries and various memorials. It was quite interesting, but a bit too long drawn.
After that tour we crossed the Dardanells and entered the Asıan part of Turkey, why I'm now on a different continent:D
Well, the mosqitoes under the computer table are klling me, why I'll stop for now.
