Today was set aside to be a free day, and a luxurious free day it turned out to be. We didn't have to go anywhere, do anything or drive anywhere today, and it was a great opportunity to recharge the batteries.
We started the day by making the girls attempt to catch up on their journals before we headed on down to the beach, which is a mere 100m from our hotel. The girls had a ball swimming and playing on the beach while Mike and I just lazed around reading our books.
That was pretty much the order of the day, with the only change being a trip back to the apartment for lunch and the girls donning their snorkelling masks and checking out the fish for a while in the afternoon.
After we had had enough sun for the day, we sat in the hotel bar for a while writing postcards before we had takeaway pizza for dinner and an early night.
