This afternoon, I returned to Yeosu for another visit to the Expo. I had a good time during my visit back in June, and while I'd seen enough in those two days that I could have checked the "Expo Complete" box, I wanted to see a bit more. Last trip, I mainly hit the pavilions. This time around I wanted to see some of the cultural and festival performances, especially the nightly "Big O" Show, which I'd missed last time because I had to catch the last train to my hotel in Jeonju.

Tonight I arrived in Yeosu as the sun was setting. I got a good look at the Expo as the train station was directly beside it, so I had to walk around the outside of the Expo in order to reach downtown Yeosu and my hotel for this visit. Seeing the Expo was a bit odd because the area had a familiar feel after I spent the better part of one weekend there. Tonight I could see the lights and hear the music, but I wasn't really excited to get inside. Not that I wasn't looking forward to things. I just knew that I had three full days and nights allotted this trip, so I could afford to be patient. I was ready to get to sleep so I could get a good start in the morning.

This visit I made sure to stay in Yeosu to avoid being dependent on the trains. I checked into a small hostel within walking distance of the Expo named the Flying Pig. Walking distance was very important since seeing the nighttime activities was the number one reason I'd returned to the Expo. As an added bonus of my proximity, tomorrow I shouldn't have to get up too early to make it to the Expo when it opens.
