Its only 6:30 pm here but it feels like we had a really long day! Hardly any sleep bar a couple of hours when we got to the hotel so its starting to catch up! We were met by car at the airport and are staying at the Royal Plaza hotel in New Delhi. Staff very attentive and room is fine if a bit on the small side. Great views though! This afternoon we had a chauffeur driven tour of New Delhi with our own personal guide Vikos. He took us around the Qutb Minar - a world heritage site. Its a sandstone minaret 75 mtrs tall which is 800 years old - finished by the British. Also saw the tomb of the Mughal emporer Humayun - built 80 years before the Taj Mahal. Also took in the Rajput from the Presidents House to the Gate of India. Now relax with G+T to the sound of a piano and contemplating where to eat!
