After some weeks of really hard working, I am ready to enter the last straight line to my departure, this Thursday. Never before I have worked so hard preparing lessons than this summer, the summer before my year off from teaching. For the biology teachers reading this (undoubtly a lot :)), go and visit the exhibit "De zaak DNA" in Gent with your class groups en you will receive those great, beautiful, useful, ready to use and original powerpoint lessons I contributed to.
But that's done now, and now it is time to organize for my departure. Buying the last things, empty my room so my godchild (to be born really soon, probably two days before I leave although the doctor says it will be the end of September) can sleep there when staying with his/her (rara!) grandparents, having emotional last-time-for-the-next-year events (Frisbee, climbing, crashing, saying "have a nice school year" to the colleagues, games night, dentist visit, ...) and much more things to which I am going to go back now!
