Traveling for months with my backpacks in different countries, different cultures, different languages, with different people I call friends, different climates, different level of wealth, it makes it pretty obvious that the only permanence in the world is change. As the world is changing around me, so I am changing within. How could it be otherwise? Without the protective shield of our home comfort, one is bound to change its approach to life and find its sanity in who they are becoming rather than how they compare themselves to others.
This very thing forces me to dig deep inside to understand what lies in my heart, what my fears are, what is my darkness and which false masks and identities I am wearing, all in the pursuit of my own truth. The energy uncovered after bravely facing one of my partial truth, always stirs within a feeling of rebirth. After doing this a few times, you begin to understand that reality is quite different than you first thought it to be. You start to get the feeling that if you have found such powers within, there must be more hiding. Eventually your life awakens to how you want it to be. You are no longer a victim of what you cannot choose but the maker of what is becoming. As at first you thought paradise to be a very magical and exotic place, you soon realize that it is not. You realize that paradise is all about being truly and honestly (magically) connected to the world and the people you truly love. Although this connection is evolving all the time, its nature always remains immutable. Just like a glacier melting down to the ocean. There are several streams of water, but each stream is and will always be made from a succession of drops of water.
When you look at a drop of water forming, slowly created from the pressure of its changing nature, you realize that they are all alike, part of a cycle: going from water, to snow, to ice and back to water. Further, you see the weight of the drop forming until it is ready to be transcended. It then reaches the point of no return, the tipping point and as the drop is birthed and changes world dimension, you can feel time stop. You feel that you are witnessing a new universe being created. The more you glance at it, the more you start to see in it your own reflection. It then shakes something profoundly within, where change is happening all the time. What does this all mean?
I still do not know for I am now looking for this answer. What is reality? Is it where time does not exist? Is it how we are all entangled, connected together through our true essence where the mind cannot follow? I sense we can only grasp the answer when all guilt has disappeared and ego has dissolved. Only then can we perceive our true nature and in turn, the one of the world we help shape.
