So, today we have a 150km route today. Should take a couple of hours....guess we will be out most of the day then!!
Starting and ending at Westervoort, the trip runs west to Brummen, then upto Apeldoorn, then down the N310 to the N304 to Ede, back through Arhem to Westervoort.
Again, it was a lovely day, and we set up to our first stop of Doesburg. What a beautiful town! There were lots of banners everywhere - all the same, not sure what they were for. There is a stunning river, with some lovely property alongside. Town centre was quaint - unfortunately, the museum we had wanted to see (the Mustard Museum) was shut (or had not opened yet), so we wandered round the town instead. We found a huge church - the bell tower was open as the doors were being painted, but unfortunately the church itself was not open until the afternoon.
As we had many km to cover (haha) and only all day to do it in, we decided not to wait for the church, and walked back to the van, peeking at the river between the houses.
