Montserrat was incredibly beautiful. I just got over being sick so I was really attractively hacking up a lung when we went up steep inclines but nobody got annoyed enough to throw me off a cliff, which would have been a loooonnng cable car ride, a shuttle "train" and a hike up the mountain. We went into the monastery and saw the Black Madonna. The figure itself was pretty cool, but the mosaic tiling and decoration around it made it really worth it. On the way back our hour train ride turned into an hour and a half because the train caught fire. YAY, RENFE! but we all made it back in one piece. good times.
