We drove from Asheville through Nantahala National Forest today.  It is a beautiful "byway" and Erik got his fill of whitewater scenery - the Nantahala River and Ocoee River (Tennessee).  Tomorrow we visit Chickamauga in Georgia, a Civil War battlesite, then on to Franklin, Tennessee to start following the Natchez Trace.
