We got to Interlaken around 10am after catching a couple of trains. We walked to our Hostel which was the best one yet it had a table tennis table, really good hot chocolate and the beds were so comfy. After we dropped our bags, we walked into town and had some very American food at hooters, it was oily and gross, but the waitresses were pretty hot so that distracted us from the bad food.

We played a little table tennis back at the hostel (I was the definate winner), then went out for some dinner, and thought we better try out some chocolate fondue since we we're in Switzerland after all. It was really disappointing though because the chocolate was cold and it was dark chocolate. Bracegirdles in adelaide is WAY better.

Got up nice and early to get up Jungfrau - this is the highest train station in Europe. It's about 3,500m above sea level and is known as "The Top of Europe". It is covered in snow all year round, and you actually have to take 3 different trains up there for the different conditions on the way up.
The trip up takes about  2.5 hours, and most of the awesome photos you get are on the way up.
When we got to the top, we actually found it noticeably harder to breathe because the air is so thin that high up. It wasn't actually that cold by the standard temperatures they get up there - was about -2, but I was still freezing since I didn't exactly pack for the snow!

On the train ride down to Interlaken, we stopped off in Grindelwald and had lunch overlooking the snowy mountains, listening to the cow bells tinkling in the distance. It beats working!!

We caught a sleeper train to Barcelona (over 12 hours long). It was well worth the extra 70 Euros each we paid for the sleeper cabin on the train.
