We spent the first day at the Wild Wadi Water Park, then when we got back to the Hotel we were so tired that we fell asleep while waiting for room service...
Thanks to the time difference, we all woke up at about 5am ready to go! We went and saw "Real" Dubai in Deira - this is where they have the Gold & Spice Markets, Sheesha Pipes, loads of Birkas and millions of Arabs... We bought some cool stuff, then went back to the Hotel to get ready for the 4x4 Dune Safari.
We were picked up from the Hotel around 4pm for the Safari, and drove about an hour into the desert, did some crazy 4 Wheel Driving throught the sand dunes (which Erik thought he could do better). We got dropped at this cool Campsite where they had camel riding, sand boarding, henna painting, sheesha pipes & a traditional bbq for dinner. The night was topped off with a Turkish Belly Dancer!
Woke up very early again, but today was my birthday (and also our last day in Dubai). We did a bit of shopping, then got dropped at the airport for our flight to London before heading to Amsterdam. Stay tuned for more from A'dam!!!
