Short stay in Ha Noi...

We arrived this morning at 04:45 am by night train to Ha Noi, the streets were empty, so we sat for a little bit waiting for hotels to open doors. After a short nap, we took a cyclo, which is a 2 seater man powered (see picture in Ho Chi Ming city blog) for a city tour. After that we stopped at Hoan Kiem Lake and visited The ancient Jade Hill temple.It was very nice & relaxing.We went to an outside food market where we bought spices for cheap prices, then enjoyed a good Vietnamese lunch before leaving again for Ho Chi Ming City by plane. For those who knows us, I can tell you that we passed our first stunt for the amazing race....short story; we took a taxi to get to the airport and the driver didn't speak english &was very very slow! Fortunately we made it on time!
