Hi!!!
I've been waiting for and looking forward to this quite a while. My Family came to Japan. My sister for a week and my parents for 3 (they're still here while I'm writing this).
I picked them up at the Station, after having trouble to find the station by car... :-)
And we went home for some relaxing and soft-diving-into-japan. Which means my sister and my dad fell asleep and my mom and I kept talking :-)
I was very happy to see all of them and have them so close. But I also had a "buffer overflow" in my had, after being "alone" for about 5 months and having only my boss to really talk to. So receiving information in 3 languages at a fast pace was at first quite difficult to adapt to. I didn't expect that.
My Family was very lucky with the weather. The first day we went on a Roadtrip around Hakone to Gotemba. Check the pix. Usually the Fuji is not so visible at that time (now three weeks later, we almost see it every day). In Gotemba was a Handcrafts-Market from local artists, so it was a good opportunity to see the creative side of Japan.
In the evening we teamed up with some of my coworkers for a massive dinner and some Karaoke Fun ;-) It was a very very nice evening and we had very much fun. I sung too much and will probably have to delete most of the videos...horrible...haha.
