Where I stayed
Darwin is a beautiful city with plenty to do. It would take at least a few weeks to see everything. After getting here we really slowed down and relaxed.
One day we went for a sunset boat cruise. It was the best ever cruise we had in our lives. Imagine, it is 25 degrees at 6pm, no wind, you are on the boat roof enjoying the sunset – nothing better in life. I cannot describe in words how much we liked it, just see the pictures.
There is a place in Darwin like Wild & Wet in Gold Coast. It is called Leanyer Recreation Park. It is a place with water slides, playgrounds, and swimming pool, in other words – everything for kids. The most important thing it is FREE. Being in Darwin is not so bad, I can tell you.
Territory Wildlife Park was one of the best nature parks we have been to. We liked it because when you were there you did not have a feeling that all animals are locked in cages. The park is divided into sections that represent different nature inhabitants. You can see there Goose Lagoon with many birds spices, fresh water crocodiles, turtles, archer fish, nocturnal animals, and many others. The park is not overcrowded with animals like it is in other wildlife parks. They organised it really well. You can get on shuttle bus that will take you from one attraction to another. We returned from there very relaxed.
One bit of unfortunate for this week was that Nell had to start wearing glasses L
