It was a town that we saw first Aborigines people in our trip. It was not a nice experience. I was putting fuel in the car when they were passing us on the pathway. One man and two females dressed really bad, behaving very nosily did not give us a nice feeling about them at first place.

It is worth mentioning here that drinking is a big problem within Aboriginal community. In some places alcohol is really prohibited and drinking in public is not allowed. Even buying it in local liquor shop makes it difficult. The salesmen checks and records your identity just in case if you want to pass the purchased alcohol to Aborigines. I think it is due to they cannot control their behavior after drinking ... Probably, we will have more experience after driving to Alice
Spring where, from I heard, this is a big problem.

Port Augusta is a nice situated town located at two sites of the canal. We did not have time to explore the town and surroundings but definitely we will come back one day :)

Next day we are heading north to Coober Pedy stopping first at Glendambo Caravan Park.
