Another bus journey (debating whether one of Czech girls on the bus was attractive- we decided against it) and eventually pulled up in Kutna Hora- and promptly got lost, typical- eventually we saw a sign pointing to St Barbaras cathedral and headed up quite a nice scenic route- noting the lack of tourists bar two Asian girls- we were soon to find out why- the rest of the visitors had done their homework- we hadn't). We wandered around the outside of the cathedral for a while- a fantastic building.

Promptly went into a tourist information centre and discovered (as I later would in other parts of Europe) that the entire place was closed on Mondays- BASTARDS!.

However before we headed back to Prague we went into a small bookshop, I was looking for a book about the history of the Czech republic- and it was here that another Tom and Briggzy quote was born, it went a little like this;

Me (to shop girl)- Do you have any books in English?

Girl (in a heavily accented, drawn out, perplexed way)- German?

Me- No, English

Girl +pointing at a collection of books on the floor+- No English. Here is German books.

We left, and had a good laugh about it on the way back to the bus station- caught the bus back to Kolin, I had another beer, got the bus to Prague, both went to sleep again and woke up with two Americans sitting right behind us- loudmouthed yanks, we're still not sure how they got there.
