From Algerceras a boat trip to Morrocco, Tanger. We had only 5 hours here but it was enough! Probably not fair on the rest of Morrocco to judge it solely on Tanger but what a placus horriblus. Our guide? dressed in his pajamas and dressing gown took us to al the most unsavoury places he could find before dumping us at a pokey wee restaruant for 'a typical Morroccan' lunch. We really did not know what to expect nor did our travelling companions, German and Italian couples. In the end it was OK. vegetable soup and a stew which I hope really was chicken but could have been anything.
The Souk was interesting if smelly, the spice stalls and rugs were amazing though. Bought some "health?" spices and a nice big hand woven rug, which yours truly then had to drag, lug etc all the way back. It was nice nice to get back onto the boat to return to Spain.
