Packed up on the road by 730am. The trip I to the mountain village is 280km. This will take us

7.5-8hrs with stops to pickup groceries, have lunch, and fresh produce. We passed 2 active volcanoes on the way north.

The main highways are in excellent condition and Sunday traffic is light. This evening will see us restocking the clinic and settling in to our accommodations.

Nice pictures, looks warm. Sounds like its going okay so far. We are flying to comox on the 6th of Feb. for two weeks.

Hope you are having a fabulous time!!! As I am sure you have checked the weather at home you are aware it has been a deep freeze! -29/-42 with the wind chill for 2 days! Apparently this weekend atleast +2 , however, I think the weather man fears for his life and can't be trusted! Enjoy yourselves and please post more pictures soon! Hugs.
