So you'll have to forgive me for working backwards through our journey,  I just wanted to try to get all the pics on the blog for you and will fill in the details later.
We spent all day Sunday at Versaille and it was truely an incredible place!  I haven't named all the pictures as I can't remember exactly where in the palace each picture is.  I will fill that in later too! I will bring my notes next time!

In general the whole palace is overwhelming, but the most opulant apartments belonged to the King (Louis XIV) he appears quite taken with himself as there are lots and lots of statues and extremely large paintings of him.

Marie-Antionette's domain is the Hamlet, where she played "peasant" and Petit Trianon. I guess when you're a Princess or Queen you pretend to be poor!

Le Grand Trianon is said to be where the royal families spent most of the time.  The grounds around the Palace are extremely large, acres and acres and I tried to take pictures so you could grasp that.

It was a very long day and our feet hurt again but it was worth every minute!
