In Paris we stayed in the beautiful Hotel St. Jacques, in the Latin Quarter. After meeting up with Jon and Greg we went out walking to see the city and have dinner. Our hotel was down the street from the Pantheon and very close to Notre Dame. We walked from our hotel along the Seine river past the Louvre, up through Jardins des Tuileries and the Champs Elysee. We crossed the Pont Neuf and went up in the Eiffel tower.

The next we toured the Pantheon while the kids slept in. We had lunch at a british pub for some burgers and fries. That afternoon we went to see the Sainte Chapelle, famous for it's stained glass windows that depict the story of the bible from Genesis to the crucifixion of Christ. For dinner we went to a Japanese restaurant for sushi. The boys were still adjusting to the time change so we had an early night.

On Monday we visited the Louvre for five whole hours. The museum is incredible, and it would be impossible to see everything in one week. We took lots of pictures, and went to see the highlights, like the Mona Lisa, Napoleon III appartments, and an indoor courtyard of sculptures that we can't remember the name of. We were exhausted when we finally got back to the hotel.

We took a lot of pictures of the Louvre, Sainte Chapelle and the Eiffel tower.

Tuesday morning we have to get up to catch the 10 AM train back to Quimper, then drive to Douarnenez.
