Between Hank Williams' pain songs and
Newberry's train songs and Blue Eyes Cryin' in the Rain
Out in Luckenbach, Texas ain't nobody feelin' no pain
-Waylon and Willie
The song starts out with the lyrics "the only two things in life that make it worth living are guitars to tune and good and firm feeling women". Actually, there's three but I guess finding a rhyme for "motorcycle adventures" proved to be a little tricky...
New / Old riding companion on this trip. Gary, who played Butch to my Sundance on the cross country treks last year
http://blog.travelpod.com/members/wayne-gary , had family commitments and could not make it on the Texas Two Scoot adventure. Long time friend of mine, Lance is along this time and since the ultimate destination is Texas, he'll play Lefty to my Pancho.
We're meeting at 0600 tomorrow. Hopefully, I can go AND STAY asleep tonight.
See you tomorrow, little buckaroos.

Hope you have a dry start, if not just gear up and head west, you'll ride out of it in a few miles.
Have Fun!

Hope you're on your way & enjoying the ride! Be safe.
Looking forward to the pictures, Pancho! San Antonio is a cool place to visit and I hope you and Lefty have a blast!
Have fun Lance, it sounds like you have had fun planning this trip. Be careful. We sure enjoyed dinner last Saturday night with you Darlene, and Cindy and Kent. Gwen and I can't wait to see the pictures.
