Where I stayed
Stuart Caravan Park
Another early start as we want to drive a lot today. Hope to get to Alice - 863 kms. Got organised and packed up and away before 8am.
Lots of driving with not much to see generally. Few roadhouses and small towns - Tennant Creek being the biggest.
About 100kms south of Tennant Creek are the Devils Marbles. We stopped here for lunch and a look around. They are really interesting, lots and lots of rounded boulders, some precariously balanced. They are all in a smallish area with nothing similar as soon as you move away from this area. (pictures to be uploaded soon - sorry they are still in the camera).
Drove into Alice Springs around 5:30pm - it was 10 degrees and raining! When we arrived at Dunmarra last night, about the same time, it was 30 degrees and sunny! It was so cold and miserable that we have opted to stay in a cabin. I know, we are a bit woosy!

Sad to see the end
I have so enjoyed Mike & Liz's BIG Adventure, I'll miss my daily blog of fun and adventure. Great trip, you two. So adventurous and I did get a few laughs about crocs and fording rivers. I've had the bug and haven't caught up for over a week so I've just had the most delightful hour or so (well, they think I'm working)catching up from Broome to Alice. So glad you didn't get eaten by any crocs. Thanks, you two, this has become a highlight of my day!
