Where I stayed
Peter's appartment
We flew into Boston and Dominic's friend Peter met us at the airport (he'd just flown back from California on the 'red eye' to meet us). We met his family and went to a 'Peewee ice hockey match, which his son Thomas was playing in. We went to see 'art in the park' in Andover and then went to the local Catholic church for mass. We had the most delicious meal of our trip so far - 'steak tips (which wasn't the ends of a steak as I thought, but very tender marinated steak!), grilled vegetables, delicious bean salad and the most sweet and tender corn on the cob I've ever tasted (picked fresh that morning on a local farm) - 'melt in the mouth'. We had strawberries and ice cream for dessert, with 'real' no.1 maple syrup (which was very clear and light - not too sweet, and from the 'first cut'). Michelle's friends have a Maple farm in New Hampshire. 20 gallons of sap make 1 gallon of syrup so it's very expensive.
