we woke up dragging today from staying out last night but we were up and packed and checked out of the villa super early and on the road to surf!

We drove to Grande and were surprised at the size.  its super small and not much around there.  we loved it!!!!  We drove around a bit and on the side of the road was this giant turkey  ( check out the video below... it was hilarious).  We had breakfast at this place called Rip Johns.  One of the best meals we had.  everyone in grande were americans who came and never left cus they love to surf so much!

We went to a place called Frijoles Loco and rented our rashguards and boards and left our suitcases in their office so they werent left in the car while we were surfing.

We got down to the beach and this crazy lizard was running up the tree!!!  it was HUGE!

We walked down the beach and had the whole place to ourselves.  James was stuck on trying to get a coconut out of a tree.  I videoed it it was hilarious.  he kept throwing one coconut up there to knock one out... not such luck.

We went out in the water and the tide was SUPER  low which made it a bit difficult.  We all got banged up.  I look like i was in a fight.  we joked that we should tell people i fought off a band of costa rica hookers haha.
At one point my fins from my boards scraped my legs and poked into my thighs.  James's board hit a wave and smacked into my ribs which hurt like no other.  I crawled back to the shore and just fell on the beach.

We were kinda like little kids.  I saw this star formation in the wet sand as the water would pass over it so i dug into it and it was a sand dollar.  it was alive which was something i had never seen before.  unfortunately my camera died so i didnt get video or pictures but it was unreal!  they have all these little fuzzy things on the bottom and i would put it in the sand and it would quicky use its little feet to burry itself.  I found TONS  of the little guys.  We all played with the snails and Manny and James took turns tormenting the hermit crabs.

After a little while we checked our boards back in and got our things and went back to Taramindo to get some gifts since we hadnt want to carry all that around the whole trip.
On the road we hit a bird!  It was the funniest thing.  i am giggling now as i write it.  James was trying to go around a big truck in front of us and the truck decided to swerve as we were coming up on its left so we had to vere back to the right real quick.  well the bird was way to low in the air and it hit our right light, shot straight out to the side and feather's went everywhere.  we had one lone feather on our antena, check out the photo...

We ate some wraps at an isreali place in tamarindo and walked up and down the strip and bought a few little gifts.

We left Tamarindo and went back to the Hilton in Liberia, checked in, went into town and ate at this sports bar place.  Had a cheap meal, but the service was awful and the guy cheated us.  we just paid it and left and packed up for our super early flight the next morning.

Can we stay forever please?
