What a fun fun day!!!!
We woke up early and had breakfast at Kokoro and then our tour bus picked us up and we went out to the Sky Tram to Zipline.  It started raining so it was neat to be in the rainforest during a huge downpour.  We trammed it up to the deck and got a lesson on how to zipline and were givien some natural juice before getting started.  We made friends with the couple Chris and Peggy who were ziplining with us!
Our instructor was pretty funny explaining that to go you need to take "sexcie poscicion 1 like dis" and then he would lean back and pull his knees into his chest and lean back and then to break you would "take sexcie poscicion numbeer two" and would spread his legs as far as they could go.   ( just reread that with a spanish accent in your head).  If i had thought about it, i would have recorded it cus i was cracking up!
So we took the first zipline which was the shortest height and shortest distance ( only 60 feet difference and 99 feet in length.
Afterwards we took turns zipping and photo and videoing each other.  it was such a rush.  on the longest one i couldnt help but feel in awe of the rainforest and the rainbow i went through.  it was amazing!
one of our guides videoed him as he zipped so watch the video below.
when we got finished there was this crazy poisionous caterpillar back at the start that we tooka million photos of.  it was INSANE. i had never seen a bug like that before.
We went back to kokoro and fixed a quick lunch.  i started to feel really sick.  the roads there are so bumpy and so curvy that i thought i was going to be sick.
Our next tour bus picked us up and we went to their ranchero for an authentic lunch.  Thats when i started to get really sick.  We loaded a bus and headed to our next stop.  we got to this small unpaved country road and got out and loaded the back of a truck and had to hold on as we took the side of the mountain in first gear.  OH MY, car sickness was kicking in.  only good part was we were in open air so that helped but when we stopped i was so queasy.  the country road was really a poor area and we saw some shanty houses which was sad
when we got to the top of the mountain we got our gear and hiked down a little bit and hooked in to start repelling.  Right as we got hooked in i knew i was about to get sick so i unhooked and ran up the mountain as fast as i could.  I got sick and i felt better after i just threw up.  I ran back down and fortunately  not everyone had made it down so they werent waiting on me.  We repelled waterfalls up to 150 feet and got soaked!  it was a lot of fun.  you couldnt always tell what was below you so sometimes the rocks would sneak up on you or a big blast of water.
We finished the 5 repells and had to hike back up the mountain to get back to the truck.  on the hike back i got sick and thought i was gonna pass out.  I was really sick in the car and when we got back to the ranchero another girl on the tour gave me some accupuncture bracelets and charcoal pills to help with my motionsickness.  We got back to our hotel and the boys made me shower and get in bed.  I slept all afternoon, night and until the next morning.  The left and went and ate and came back to check on me and make sure i had some food and then they went back out and partied.  I was sad i couldnt go as i really wanted to dance but i was not feeling like myself.
Even though i was sick i had a great day and loved all the adventure we had!
