I forgot to write this one, so I forget a lot of the details, but Sienna was a quaint little Italian town, but more beautiful than ever. We sat in a piazza for hours and had lunch and just watched the locals. There were these adorable kids throwing confetti in the air for Carnivale that was coming up soon. Except in Italy, confetti means cakes and cookies, so they have a different word for it and were very confused when we referred to it as confetti. The Sienna duomo was much more beautiful on the inside than the Florence one. It had sculpture of all of the clergys heads lining the ceiling of the building, it was a bit creepy but also pretty spectacular. Then we climbed to the roof of a museum where we were able to see for miles and miles.

Then we stopped in San Gemignano which had a very medieval feel. The entire city, very small, was enclosed with a wall. We walked around and then sit on the city wall and just looked at the view. You could see for miles and miles the rolling hills and breath taking scenery. This was one of the first times that I could really comprehend that I was actually in ita
