This week, I worked a lot in the office to prepare Easter activities and next week schedule.

On Tuesday, I received our baseball season tickets for the Blue Jays games. I felt like a kid unwraping a gift he has been waiting for years!! Unfortunately, we got only 7 booklets of tickets instead of 10. I had to call one of the Blue Jays managers to know what was going on. I was so nervous, you know, my English is not that good and this manager is an important person. Finally, everything went well and he even contacted me the next day to make sure we received the other 3 booklets, what a nice guy!

The week was kind of boring as many of my activities were canceled (not enough participants and lot of rain) and all my best friends left, but I had to chance to meet extraodinary new people!  I met Jasmine, a girl from the States, Mathieu who is from Montreal (studying in Kingston, but only in Toronto for 4 days) and Scout, a girl from Portland.

During my free time, I have been to the Eaton Center twice, the Chinatown and I also had a bad experience going to the dollar store to buy stuff for work. There was a street gang on one side of the road (dealing drugs!) and a bunch (at least 8) homeless drunk people on the other side. There were plenty of trashes in the street and all the building there looked abandoned! In the entrance of the Dollorama, there were 2 security guards. Is it supposed to be encouraging? Note to myself: never go there alone at night time! Scary #1 gangsta neighborhood. haha

New Challenge: Starting from Sunday, no restaurant for a whole week for Charles and I, not even Starbucks or Tim Hortons. Are we going to be able? You can bet. It will be hard, but we will support each other!!

P.S.: Have you heard about the shooting that happened in a nightclub ofToronto ?! It's a few blocks away from my hostel and I didn't even noticed. .. Scary #2 !

Creepy guy finally talked to me -_-  Actually, he is nice guy to talk with and he is from Italy but I'm still (even more) affraid. Scary #3

That is enough scary stories for the week! I will come back to you soon with Easter activities :)
