Sunday morning, I woke up early and headed to Bonn, Germany, home of Beethoven. While Bonn didn't have the impressive size of Cologne, the city itself was just very pretty and friendly. During the morning, I toured the main city and saw Beethoven's house. The house itself was pretty cool and really old, but I was really disappointed with the museum part. All of the exhibit descriptions were in German so it was hard to tell the significance of the items. I also saw several other cool sites. I labeled them all correctly, I think....
For lunch though I had an amazing German meal... It was called Konigsberger Klopse and was really good. I took pictures of that too.
After lunch, I went for a walk along the Rhine by myself. It was gorgeous. There were quite a few outlooks over the river, and I even found the Schaumburg Palace. In those two hours, I walked over 6 miles. (running just seems so much easier.)
So by the time I got back to Brussels, I was absolutely exhausted. I took a shower and fell right to sleep.
