Leaving our friendly guesthouse behind we took a 5 hour coach to the beachside town of Mui Ne. Our new guesthouse we soon discovered was slightly out on a limb but this actually served to our advantage as the nearest beach was virtually deserted. We were also fortunate that the resort opposite which we were advised to cut through in order to reach the beach doesn't seem to realise that we are not in fact guests so we have rather cheekily been taking advantage of their sun beds on the beach and their all too tempting swimming pool. Luxury! A small Vietnamese lady was barbecuing seafood on an upturned metal bucket on the sand so for lunch we had some delicious fresh scallops whilst dipping our toes in the sea. It's been such a blissful day that we are considering staying an extra night to squeeze in another days tanning and relaxation!
