Rushed back into town to go to Lan Chile office before it shut and finally, thank god, our tickets were fine and ready! We were so pleased as it has taken us ages and countless phone calls, visits to offices/non-existant offices. Plus we were also told that one of the flights was not possible so all in all we have added a flight in from Quito to Santiago and changed our flight from Quito to Guatamela to Santiago to Guatemala instead all for about 60 quid each!

Went home and celebrated with a couple of home made capirinhas and got rid of all our other itineraries we had planned in case the above wasnt going to happen. Its amazing how caught up you get in it all - its almost like work!

Then walked length of Copacabana beach to the restaurant we had lunch in yesterday as was only 14 Reais each for all the yummy food (yes I know I said I wouldnt talk about it anymore but I lied).
